Meghan McCain turned on Lindsey Graham today on the View, a man she referred to as a like an uncle, and trashed him for “transforming into a Trumper.”
But it was the spat she got into with Joy Behar that made the news. She called Joy a bitch on live TV. (See Video Below)
From The Hill: “The View” co-host Meghan McCain referred to herself as the show’s “sacrificial Republican” in a clash with co-host Joy Behar Wednesday morning.
The show’s panel was discussing President Trump’s 2020 campaign launch in Orlando the day before, and McCain was explaining why she thinks Trump remains popular among his supporters.
“Sometimes it’s not that they love Trump so much. It’s that they hate the same things Trump hates. That’s what’s going on,” McCain said.
When Behar launched back asking if Trump’s supporters hate black people and immigrants, McCain responded that she thinks people should remain “open minded” and not judge the crowd who attended the campaign rally Tuesday night.
“I know you’re angry. I get that you’re angry that Trump’s president like a lot of people are, but I don’t think yelling at me is going to fix the problem,” McCain said.
“Being the sacrificial Republican every day, I’m just trying to — don’t feel bad for me, bitch, I’m paid to do this. Don’t feel bad for me,” McCain added. She clarified that she and Behar call each other “bitch” all the time.
McCain also hit Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) Wednesday morning, who tweeted he was “honored” to fly down to Florida with the president for the rally.
“The transformation’s complete. Your political transformation is complete into a Trumper,” McCain said.
