South Dakota GOP governor Kristi Noem publicly embarrassed conspiracy peddler and MSNBC host Rachel Maddow yesterday.
Maddow took issue with a social media post by Noem where she was hunting and made a joke about social distancing.
Maddow was not happy and blasted the South Dakota Governor. “South Dakota has just set new records in the number of people hospitalized, new cases, and overall active cases,” she said.
“With a 36% spike in COVID-19 hospitalizations in the last week, the state now has the highest per-capita rate of hospitalizations in the US,” she added.
Sounds serious. But Noem quickly embarrassed Rachel and exposed her publicly:
“Stop spreading fear,” she told Maddow.
“Only 8% of South Dakota’s hospital beds are occupied by COVID patients,” she added.
“We have and will continue to manage our resources to care for the people who need help.”
“The people of South Dakota have accomplished this WITHOUT draconian lockdowns. #FactsNotFear.”
