Pelosi Responds To Bill Barr Calling Her Irresponsible: “Just A Henchman For POTUS”

Nancy Pelosi got personal trying to defend herself from Attorney General Bill Barr. Barr blasted Nancy and others in the Dem Party for not denouncing the violence that has spread across the country.

He answered a question about her use of strong language like stormtroopers to describe federal agents and suggested her words could lead to agents getting hurt.

“He is there to support the president, Donald Trump, no matter what. He’s not the president’s lawyer. That was Michael Cohen, and you know what happened to him,” Pelosi said. “I never heard him say anything about Rudy Giuliani when he said they were like storm troopers when they went into Michael Cohen, was it his home, or one of his other henchmen said that the law enforcement were like the gestapo when they went into one of the other of the president’s henchmen’s place,” she added.

From Townhall:

She made the attempted clarification on MSNBC’s “The Beat” with Ari Melber after being shown a clip from Tuesday’s House Judiciary Committee hearing with Attorney General Bill Barr. During an exchange between Rep. Doug Collins and Barr, the Georgia Republican called Pelosi’s comment a “direct reference to the paramilitary wing of the Nazi Party” and wondered if the AG thought it “encourages the violence that we’re seeing and encourages the participation against the police?” Barr said it was “possible” and that he believed it is “irresponsible to call these federal law enforcement officers stormtroopers.”

“I said they acted like storm troopers, and they did. And my colleagues have said that as well,” Pelosi said before she got personal.

“He should be answering for what he did at Lafayette Square, it was a disgrace,” Pelosi said.

“So this, it’s really, he was like a blob.”

“He was like just a henchman for the president of the United States instead of the attorney general of the United States of America.”
