Marjorie Taylor Greene Checkmates Nikki Haley: “If we wanted a Bush in heels Republicans would vote for Liz Cheney”

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) overruled former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley after Haley took a swipe at former President Donald Trump when she announced she will take on Trump for the GOP nomination.

Greene said: “Nikki Haley is just another George (or Jeb!) Bush. She is weak on the border, doesn’t want a wall, claimed ‘Legal Immigrants are more patriotic than most Americans these days,’ and she defended Obama when Pres. Trump criticized his terrible open-borders policy.

“And Nikki Haley refused to support a transgender bathroom bill to protect children. If we wanted a ‘Bush in heels,’ Republicans would vote for Liz Cheney,” Greene added.

Haley said when she announced her candidacy:  “America is not past our prime. It’s just that our politicians are past theirs.

“We’re ready — ready to move past the stale ideas and faded names of the past.

“And we are more than ready for a new generation to lead us into the future.”

“Hi, I’m Nikki Haley.

“Are you ready for a new generation of leadership?

“Do you think politicians like Joe Biden and my former boss who I would never insult, Donald Trump, should be sent upstate to farm pancakes and catch butterflies?

“Do you want a president who has the guts to look your pop-pop or mee-maw in the eyes and say, ‘You’ve reached an arbitrary age, so I no longer think your brain works right’?

“If so, and if you are under the age of 75, I’m asking for your vote.”
