LeBron James Wears MAGA Hat With Twist To Playoff Game: ‘Make America Arrest the cops who killed Breonna Taylor’

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers have not played well in the NBA restart including a stunning loss last night in their first playoff game.

Charles Barkley predicted the Lakers would get swept in the first round which would be an epic fall from grace for LeBron.

Today we may have discovered a reason for their dismal play – they are too focused on politics. Last night James and his teammates wore Make America Great Again hats with one twist: they crossed out the ‘Great Again’ and wrote ‘Make America Arrest the cops who killed Breonna Taylor.’

As they made their way to the arena, James and his teammates wore parody Make America Great Again hats similar to the ones worn by President Donald Trump.

Instead of ‘Great Again’, which had been crossed out, the cap read ‘Make America Arrest the cops who killed Breonna Taylor.’

James also wore a t-shirt that read ‘By Any Means.’

‘By Any Means‼️ Lets Get It #JusticeForBreonnaTaylor,’ James wrote on his Instagram page.

James’ teammates were also spotted wearing the distinctive red caps before Tuesday night’s game.

Anthony Davis, Dwight Howard, Jared Dudley, Quinn Cook, Rajon Rondo, Danny Green, and JR Smith were among other Lakers athletes who donned the baseball cap in protest at Breonna Taylor’s death.

In March, 26-year-old Taylor was killed in her Louisville home by police officers.

Ever since the killing, there have been demands for justice including from other NBA players who are bringing attention to the case.

‘The same energy that we have on the floor is the same energy that we have towards having justice for Breonna Taylor and her family,’ James said. ‘That’s the energy that we bring to the game. That’s just who we are.’

‘We want the cops arrested who committed that crime,’ James said during a press conference last month. ‘As one of the leaders of this league, I want Taylor’s family to know and the state of Kentucky to know … we want justice. And that’s what it’s all about. What’s right is right and what’s wrong is wrong. And this is a wrong situation that’s going on.
