Greg Gutfeld Beat Every Show On CNN And MSNBC In Key Demo, Finishes July As Second Highest Rated Show In All Of Late Night TV

Fox News star Greg Gutfeld got some fantastic news from the July cable ratings. To say Gutfeld is on fire is an understatement.

His show Gutfeld! was the second most-watched late night show in all of broadcast and cable. Airing at 11 PM/ET, the program also topped every show on CNN and MSNBC in the critical, advertiser-coveted 25-54 demo. He beat every show on CNN and MSNBC in this key metric.

Gutfeld! averaged nearly 2 million viewers 326,000 with A25-54 this month beating ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! and NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in total viewers. Greg also topped Comedy Central’s The Daily Show in total viewers and the younger 25-54 demo.

And Greg is doing better in his ‘day job’ at The Five. According to Fox News:

“The Five continued to make television history, earning the top-rated spot in viewers for the month and finishing first in cable news for the last seven out of eight months.

“The roundtable program averaged 3.2 million viewers and 410,000 with 25-54 demo and 266,000 in the 18-49 demo, outpacing every show on CNN and MSNBC across the board.

“FOX News Channel (FNC) finished July 2022 as the third most-watched network in all of television during weekday primetime, trailing only CBS and NBC.

“According to Nielsen Media Research, FNC remained as cable’s most-watched network in total day and primetime with both total viewers and the 25-54 demo. FNC surpassed CNN and MSNBC combined with total day and primetime viewers and was number one in all of cable with total day and primetime viewers.

“FNC also ranked number one in cable news in primetime viewers for the 18th month in a row and notched 82 of the top 100 cable telecasts for the month. Notably, FNC was the only cable news network to post gains versus July of 2021 in total day viewers, while CNN and MSNBC experienced declines.

“In total day, FNC delivered 1.4 million viewers, 194,000 with the 25-54 demo and 118,000 with the 18-49 demo.

“In primetime, FNC netted 2.1 million viewers, 292,000 in the 25-54 demo, and 181,000 with the 18-49 demo.

“The network also delivered the top four programs in cable news with viewers and the top 15 of the top 16 cable news programs in the 25-54 demo.

“FNC continues to make up over half the cable news audience share occupying 51% of viewers across total day and primetime.

“According to Nielsen MRI Fusion data, FNC continued to be the most watched network among all political spectrums and is watched by more Independents than MSNBC and CNN in total day and primetime demo and is the preferred network of Democrats, with more tuning into FNC than both MSNBC and CNN in total day and primetime 25-54 demo,” Fox said.
