Beth Chapman In Medically-Induced Coma As Duane Asks Fans To Pray

This is sad. Beth Chapman, star of the hit show “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” is in a medically-induced coma.

Duane Chapman broke the news to his many fans and asked for prayers for his wife as she battles cancer.

From Fox News: Beth Chapman — the wife of “Dog the Bounty Hunter” — was reportedly placed in a medically-induced coma over the weekend in Hawaii.

“Please say your prayers for Beth right now thank you love you,” Duane Chapman, otherwise known as “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” tweeted on Sunday.

Beth, 51, was diagnosed in November 2017 with stage 2 throat cancer. She underwent successful surgery, but doctors later told her the cancer had returned. She began chemotherapy in December, and in April was rushed to a hospital in Hawaii with “serious breathing issues.”

As of Saturday, she was in a medically-induced coma at Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, according to Hawaii News Now.

Duane Chapman, 66, previously told Fox News the couple, who starred in their hit A&E reality television show from 2004 until 2012, credits faith with helping them survive.

“Faith is probably the No. 1 thing in our lives, no matter what we’re faced with… Through this cancer episode, we had to drum up as much faith as we could. And the Bible talks about having faith as small as a mustard seed,” he said. “And that’s not much… And I thank God that we had at least that much faith to get her through that.”

From Popculture: Fans filled social media with prayers and well-wishes for Beth Chapman on Sunday morning after she was put into a medically-induced coma.

The Chapman family has had a long and difficult journey through cancer treatment for matriarch Beth, and they hit another bump this weekend. Late on Saturday night, Chapman was put into a medically-induced coma, according to a report by Honolulu News Now. There were no more details immediately available, but the family said they “humbly ask everyone to please pray for Beth.”

Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman echoed this request on Twitter, and fans did not disappoint. Before long, Chapman’s replies were filled with praise for Beth and the rest of the family, as well as prayers, well-wishes and messages of strength.

“Beth [has] helped millions of people God. Now it’s time to help Beth more than ever before,” one fan tweeted. “Please help her be pain Free.. please help Beth and the family be Happy again. Beth still has so much more love to give and so many more experiences to experience.”

“I am soooo unbelievably sorry that you, Beth and your family are going through this,” wrote another, addressing Dog. “She is one of the strongest women I know. Love and prayers sent from Paradise Valley, Arizona.”

Many fans sent strongly worded prayers addressed directly to a higher power as well. The Chapmans have always cited spirituality as an important part of their healing process, and lately they have leaned on it more than ever. Last month, Beth spent Mother’s Day in Bradenton, Florida speaking at the Source Church about how faith has given her strength throughout her illness.
